Kate Bailey was born near Wenatchee, Washington, and moved at an early age to Leavenworth. Bailey's weather forecasts and other articles were published in the Wenatchee Daily World from the late 1930s to the 1970s. According to Bailey, she can predict the weather with 80% accuracy using only natural signs.
