Claude Charles (C.C.) McColloch (1888-1959) was an Oregon lawyer and later district court judge. As a student at Stanford University, he did volunteer work in San Francisco after the great earthquake of 1906. He was appointed as judge of the U. S. District Court in Portland, Oregon in 1937.

Collection consists of three letters and several mementos relating to C. C. McColloch's experiences. In June 1906 he wrote an article for the Portland Oregonian critical of the Stanford administration. The correspondence includes two letters from David Starr Jordan censuring McColloch for the article and threatening expulsion. The scrapbook consists of clippings about McColloch's nomination and appointment as district judge in 1937.
