Biographical Note
Sofus B. Nelson was appointed as Professor of Veterinary Science at the State College of Washington in 1895. He was Dean of the Veterinary School from 1916-1919, and he served as Director of the State College of Washington Extension Service from 1919-1929. He was a fellow of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Jettchen Uhden Nelson (born June 18, 1909) was a member of the Pullman Fortnightly Club and wife of Dr. Sofus B. Nelson.
