Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Dora Lobaugh was a member of the Washington Agricultural College class of 1899. She edited the Evergreen, the campus student newspaper, in 1899. In 1900 she married Will E. Hudson who was a student at the college but who did not graduate. Mr. Hudson played in the college band and was a photographer in Pullman. Dora Lobaugh's father, J. T. Lobaugh, was for a time Postmaster at Pullman, and also owned a farm implement store.

The collection consists primarily of certificates, legal papers, diplomas, photographs, and Washington State University publications, including issues of the Evergreen edited by Dora Lobaugh. Large-format material has been separated from the main grouping and placed in oversize storage.

The papers of Dora Lobaugh Hudson were gifted to Washington State University in 1969 by her daughter, Marjorie Hudson Renfroe.
