Sidney Meltzer was president of Nerzl-Ner Tamid, 1968-1971, when Herzl and Ner Tamid merged and the new Herzl synagogue was built.

The records document the merger of the two synagogues and the building of Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation. It was decided at time of accessioning not to separate Herzl (pre-merger) material from Herzl-Ner Tamid.

Restrictions on Use: Creator's literary rights transferred to the University of Washington Libraries.
