18 10"x14" labeled prints of steamboats and scenes in Lewiston area. Includes boiler explosions, and troops bound for Spanish-American War. Taken (or at least printed) by the Wilkin Photo Service Lewiston, Idaho, between 1890 and 1922, the photographs document the fleet of steamboats that early in the century serviced the Snake River around Lewiston, Idaho.

The photographs in this collection are retained in their original order.
This collection was found in a family trunk by Lloyd Bounds of Richland, WA, after he inherited it in 1973. They were received at WSU Libraries' MASC sometime between 1979 and 2000; accessioned in December 2000 as UPC 031.
Photographs are individually sleeved to reduce curling effects.
