Biographical Note
Edward Autrey Valentine (1893-1980) was an insurance executive and chairman of the Portland, Oregon, chapter of the Red Cross. He served in both world wars.

Album containing 109 black and white photographs, 1943-1945, of people and places in Northern Italy during the end of World War II, where Edward Autrey Valentine served as a provincial commissioner. Includes images of Prince Umberto meeting members of the Allied Military Mission, an Italian villa, and a wedding.
