Administrative Information

Arrangement

Materials are organized first under the proper name of the organization that published them, and then alphabetically by publication title. The proper names of the organizations are in alphabetical order. Duplicate copies of publications published by conservation organizations were discarded. Copies of publications published by conservation organizations missing from existing collections were added to those collections.

Processing Note

Lee Steiner and Melissa Davis created this manuscript group by consolidating publications and reports dealing with conservation issues removed from all of the collections within the Wilderness Archive. The group was initially processed in March and April 2009, and in 2011, Amy Thompson, Elizabeth Stratton, and Julie Monroe removed duplicate and missing publications, reducing the collection by five cubic feet.
