Content DescriptionReturn to Top

The Clark Edwards Schultz Papers consist of materials created and assembled by Schultz documenting his life and experiences. The bulk of the materials are autobiographical essays about his childhood in Illinois; student years at Oregon Agricultural College and life in Corvallis; and his career in agricultural inspections and wholesale shipping in California. The papers also include letters that accompanied the essays; genealogical information about the Edwards, Schultz, Lewis, and Martin families compiled by Schultz; several newsclippings and ephemeral items including programs for the 25th anniversary celebration of Oregon Agricultural College in 1910; and photographs.

The photographs consist of several black-and-white and color prints of Schultz as a child, youth, and adult and of his family members; a color slide of grapes at his ranch in California; and several prints of the interior and exterior of the Schultz home in Corvallis.
