Historical Note

Data Management Services originally resided within the University of Washington's Office of the Registrar and offered a wide range of services related to the organization and maintainance of student enrollment data. In recent years, the office became part of Enrollment Services and changed its name to the Office of Data Management; however it continues to offer the same services and still falls under the administration of the Office of the Registrar. Data Management Services maintains the student database system and other administrative records related to student enrollment, activities, and services. It also provides reports documenting admissions, enrollment, and diversity for the various schools and colleges. Data Management Services also handles a number of administrative forms, petitions for academic leave, and discrepancies in student files.
