Historical NoteReturn to Top

Lester Greenwood first began collecting newspapers and printed ephemera of political third parties as a student at Washington State College (now University) in the 1950s. By 2008, when he donated the collection to WSU, it represented over 50 years of collecting and reflected his lifelong curiosity about diverse political groups.

Content DescriptionReturn to Top

In most cases these are scattered issues. The collection also includes some materials related to the political right. In addition to newspapers, there are non-newspaper periodicals, related ephemera, and a small amount of manuscript material.
