Biographical Note

Julius Shulman was born in Russia, ca. 1891. He immigrated to New York in 1910, married Anna Hirschel, and they moved to Seattle where Shulman's brothers lived (Lippe, Abraham, and Eli). He worked in the furniture business along with his brothers.
