Biographical Note

Henry C. Stevens (1898-1979) was a native of Portland, Oregon. He was a partner in the insurance company Stevens & Brewster, which merged into Campbell, Galt & Newlands. He served as the president of the Oregon Association of Insurance Agents and was a member of many civic organizations.

Geographic place names are altered to conceal U. S. troop movements in the event of capture.
