Administrative Information

Arrangement

Arrangment of the records is based on the filing system used by the Council. However, some of the records that were received in an essentially unfiled state had to be fit into this system. Additionally, those records received from the Council representative from Wash ington State University were fitted into the filing system. Duplicate copies of a number of reports were discarded.

Acquisition Information

The Washington State University Libraries acquired the records of the Whitman County Regional Planning Council in 1989 (MS89-20) from the Council, which was then in the process of dissolution. Further records (MS89-33) were transferred from Washington State University's Assistant Vice-President for Business, Ken Abbey, who had been the University's representative on the council.
