Oregon State Penitentiary, built in 1870.

Second bridge in Salem to span the Willamette River, built in 1891.

Originally called the Cartwright Sanatorium, built in the late 1800s. Later called the Florence Sanatorium, and then Willamette Sanatorium. It was later used as a boarding house. Willamette University used it as a women's residence hall from 1942-1946 when the Navy V-12 unit was housed in Lausanne Hall.

Built in 1863, Sacred Heart Academy was established by the Sisters of the Holy Name and occupied this original structure until the 1960s.
