Historical Note
During 2015 and 2016 Barb Coyner was commissioned by the Potlatch Historical Society to organize the collection of photographs and printed material stored in the Volunteer Room at City Hall. When the Historical Society moved the collections to a new office in the Washington Idaho and Montana Depot, Gary E. Strong began to create finding aids and reference guides to the collection to help with access by volunteers assisting the general public.
Content Description
This collection consists of four indexes to collections available through the Potlatch Historical Society in Potlatch, Idaho. Compiled by society member Gary Strong the indexes include Guide to the Collections Listing of Series Within the Collections, Index to the Potlatch Historical Society Newsletter, and The Family Tree Index to Volumes I to IV Published by Potlatch Forests, Inc. The Potlatch Historical Society History Collection W I & M Railway HPG Archives Finding Aid was completed in 2022 and added to this collection in 2023. In 2025, Gary E. Strong provided the Heritage Center Finding Aid and it replaced the 2022 version.
