Photographs of farming in the Yakima Valley, including views of orchards, fruit, farming activities, and farmers' homes. It includes a series of photographs of artesian wells drilled in the Moxee Valley near Pomona, Washington. Also includes a bird's-eye map of the Yakima Valley and a 1909 promotional poster with a W.P Romans panorama photograph of the Yakima Valley. Many of the photographs are by Webster & Stevens. This album was most likely used to encourage settlement in the Yakima Valley by showing the bountiful crops and abundant water sources.

Large well spouting water with four men watching, Pomona, WA Written on photo: Well no. 4, Pomona, Wash.The part of the Yakima Valley east of the Yakima River is known as the Moxee Valley. This is where most of the artesian wells in the valley were located. Pomona is located near the town of Moxee. On March 14, 1913, H.R. Linse working for the Pomona Artesian Irrigation Company struck an artesian spring of water in the fourth well drilled in the Pomona Heights area of the Yakima Valley. Water was struck at 400 feet
