Content Description

This collection consists primarily of correspondence, memoranda, minutes, reports, etc. relating to Orlando Rivera's duties as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs. A good part of the collection, however, reflects Dr. Rivera's participation in numerous minority professional organizations, e.g., The National Association of Non-White Rehabilitation Workers, and involvement in the affairs of the Chicano and mainstream communities.

Of note are approximately two linear feet of records concerning the Teaching Assistants/Teaching Fellows Training Program founded in the 1960's by Rivera's predecessor, Charles Monson, and nearly two linear feet of material documenting the University's compliance with Titles IV, VI, IX.
