WSU Today Records, 1990-2008

This collection consists primarily of compact discs, zip drives, and SyQuest cartridges containing images, drafts, and other materials from the production of WSU Today, a Washington State University-produced campus newsletter. Most drives and discs contain material relating to a specific date range of issues, noted in the container list. Excepting the SyQuest (SQ) and Power Disk (135D) cartridges and the discs noted as “[unable to retrieve data],” all the materials have been digitized and placed in archival storage, and are available upon request. Full issues of WSU Today are available in the WSU MASC digital collections though the digital materials in this collection will be of higher quality than those.

The majority of the storage disks are Macintosh formatted, which does not affect the usability of the contents once copied from the disks. However, Mac-compliant systems are required to remove the contents from those disks, and this will need to be taken into account when planning for accessing the materials not yet copied to archival storage.
