The Feagins family consisted of Lydia Isabelle Ray and William C. Feagins, who were born on February 1, 1860 in Taylor County, Iowa and August 2, 1852 in Ohio. They moved to Wallowa County, Oregon right around the turn of the century, and bought land to start a farm. Though William died on July 14, 1910, at the age of 57, Lydia continued to operate the farm with her son, Joseph, and her daughter, Lucy, until her death on November 9, 1935, at the age of 75.
