Biographical Note

Teacher. After attending the Seventh America-Japan Student Conference in Tokyo in the summer of 1940, this UW student taught English at Dai-ichi-Koto-Gakko, the first higher school and preparatory school for the Imperial University in Tokyo. He returned to the U.S. in the spring of 1941.
