The majority of records in this collection were created either by the State of Idaho Department of Lands or the U.S. Forest Service regarding the Craig Mountain Forest Protective District, since renamed Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area, which is a hunting preserve in Nez Perce County, Idaho. It is currently cooperatively managed by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game and the Bureau of Land Management.
