Biographical Note

Nancy N. Porter joined the Washington State University Library faculty in 1968 after receiving a B.A. (1956) and an M.A. (1963) in political science from the University of Idaho. Paralleling her duties as social sciences librarian, Ms. Porter has been an active participant on several university and library committees.

Arrangement

The collection is arranged in seven folders by committee. The first two folders relate to the W.S.U. Commission on the Status of Women. The third folder contains papers of the library's Faculty Participation Committee, and the fourth folder concerns the Multi-Purpose Communication Task Force. Management Review and Analysis Program Task Force papers comprise folders five and six, while the final folder concerns the Library Staff Advisory Council.

The Nancy N. Porter papers were donated to the Washington State University Libraries May 1977 (UA 77-9).
