Paul Briggs was an electrical contractor who worked in Pullman, WA from 1941 to 1951. His firm was Lighthouse Electric.

The collection consists of 78 8"x10" photographs relating to projects which Paul Briggs worked on as an electrical contractor during his time in Pullman. Everything which can be positively dated is from 1950 to 1953 All but two of the buildings are on the Washington State University (then Washington State College) campus; of particular note are the series of photographs of the Regents Hill Complex which contains monthly (loosely) sets of photographs of the construction process from July 1950 to June 1952, and photographs of the installation of ceiling lighting in the Holland Library.

Arrangement
The photographs are arranged primarily in a few small alphabetical series based on the buildings they depict. Folders one to five are Washington State University buildings, six and seven are regional elementary schools, and folder eight is images of Paul Briggs.
Acquisition Information
The materials in this collection were donated to the Washington State University Libraries' Manuscripts, Archives, and Special Collections (MASC) on May 27, 2015 by Ernie Briggs of Wenatchee, WA. The materials were accessioned as UPC 2015-04.
