Photographs taken by Robert Sperry in Japan in 1963. Supported by a Grant-in-Aid by the Center for Asian Arts. The images pertain to Japanese pottery techniques in the village of Onda, Japan including throwing on the wheel, glazing, and firing the kiln. Included are an inventory of prints and 5 caption card and 2 wall text panels from an exhibit of the photographs at the Henry Art Gallery in 1963.
