Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Barbara Rose Lange (1955-) is an ethnomusicologist and teacher. She earned her B.A. in Music Education from Montana State University, her M.M. in viola performance from the University of Wyoming, and her Ph.D. in ethnomusicology from the University of Washington. Her Ph.D. dissertation focused on the pentecostal church music of the roma and magyar peoples. She currently teaches ethnomusicology and music history at the University of Houston.
