Biographical NoteReturn to Top

William H. Latta (1864-1960) was a pioneer in Whitman County, Washington. Born in Washington County, Iowa, Latta spent most of his youth on a farm in Linn County, Kansas. In 1898, he moved to Whitman County to work as a school teacher, which he continued until 1907, when he became a postal worker in Pullman, Washington. He retired in 1931.
