Summary
Harold W. Bentley was professor of English (1948-1967) and Dean of the Extension Division (1951-1962) at the University of Utah. In 1965 the name of the Extension Division was changed to the Division of Continuing Education. After his retirement as dean in 1962, Harold W. Bentley remained as Director of Projects in the Division of Continuing Education until 1967. This collection consists of correspondence and subject files related to Harold W. Bentley's involvement with professional organizations and activities. Principal topics covered are the 1964 Consumer Conference, The Human Relations Area Files, activities in Mexico, Model United Nations, the Peace Corps, and Rotary International.
