This collection consists of a single item: an autograph letter, signed (1 page), from artist Duncan Grant to publisher Stanley Unwin of Allen and Unwin, dated March 25, 1943. The letter concerns Grant's original drawing for the book jacket of Arthur Waley's book "Monkey," and its subject, an unnamed "lady," to whom Grant gave the drawing when Unwin returned it to him.
