Historical Note

Michael B. Enzi was born in Bremerton, Washington. He earned a degree in accounting from George Washington University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver. He was mayor of Gillette, Wyoming, from 1975-1983. He served in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1987-1991, in the Wyoming Senate from 1991-1997, and in the U.S. Senate from 1997-2021.
