    2 microfilm reels (1 negative and 1 positive)

    Scope and Content: Journal.

    Lt. O'Neil's Exploration of the Olympic Mountains by H. Fisher with maps and illustrations. This expedition was sponsored by the U.S. Army under the auspices of General John Gibbon, and by the Oregon Alpine Club.

    Restrictions on Access: Access restricted: For terms of access, contact Special Collections.

    Restrictions on Use: Creator's literary rights not transferred to the University of Washington Libraries.

    Acquisition Info: Loaned for copying by the Library of the Mazamas, 10/4/1967.

    Scope and Content: Typewritten transcript made in 1967-1968 of the Journal of 1890. The typescript was prepared by Robert L. Wood, who used it as the source of his book "Men, Mules, and Mountains: Lieutenant O'Neil's Olympic Expedition."

    Restrictions on Access: Open to all users.

    Restrictions on Use: Creator's literary rights not transferred to the University of Washington Libraries.
