Biographical Note

George Leon Stroud was born January 11, 1911 in Tacoma, Washington. He graduated from Whitman College in 1933, and earned his teaching credentials at the College of Puget Sound. He was a teacher at Woodland High School from 1938 to 1974. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. He married Margaret Herz on July 24, 1945. He died on March 7, 1994.
