Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Lizzie Stewart, Mary "Polly" Stewart, and Elsie Helen "Babe" Stewart were the daughters of James G. Stewart and and Eliza C. Stewart, who came to Seattle from Scotland around 1890. James Stewart was a doctor. The daughters never married. Lizzie was a dentist. Mary had a strong interest in baseball and other sports. Elsie attended UW.
