Biographical Note
Herbert (Bertie), 1916-2003, and Heather, (1920-) Shield were born in England and married in 1946. They moved to the Canada in about 1956 and lived in Vancouver and then later Greater Victoria. They traveled extensively to Europe, Mexico, and the US. Bertie was the photographer for their trips.
