Administrative Information

Acquisition Information

These papers were donated to Special Collections and Archives following the completion of Lisa Godfrey's USU MA thesis in history in 1991 by Dr. Ross Peterson, who was the major advisor for this project. Partial funding for this project came from the Bureau of Land Management. Research support also came from the Museum of Western Colorado, located in Grand Junction. As a result of this support, both the BLM office in Denver and the museum in Grand Junction also have copies of Ms. Godfrey's interviews and transcripts of them. Their holdings, however, do not necessarily exactly duplicate what is housed in this collection.

Processing Note
