Historical Note
On January 1, 1946, the Washington State Institute of Technology was established by the Board of Regents. The Institute included the College of Engineering, the School of Mines, the Division of Industrial Research, and a Division of Industrial Service. The Institute was reorganized in July 1966 and became the College of Engineering.
Content Description
This collection contains minutes of the Advisory Board of the College of Engineering at Washington State University. It also includes a limited number of papers and pre-conference documents.

Arrangement
The minutes, and all accompanying documents, are arranged chronologically. From November 1962 forward the biannual meetings are numbered sequentially, with November 1962 being the 30th Meeting.
Acquisition Information
The minutes of the College of Engineering Advisory Board, were transferred to the University Archives, Washington State University circa 2006.
