Historical Note
The Harriet Cheney Cowles Memorial Library was dedicated on November 14, 1998. The building has been expanded and modernized twice, the latest being in 1991-1992. Services include interlibrary loans, library instruction, group study rooms, K-12 curriculum library, the Martin Music Library, the Daniel Photographic Collection, instructional technology and media services, reference and research assistance, archives, writing center, and computer laboratories. This file includes the history of the building and its operations from 1954 through 1990.
