Arrangement
The collections is organized alphabetically by the reviewed author, with reviews organized chronologically within that. At the back of each author section may be found any reviews for which the dates were unclear. The 3x5 cards are located at the start of that author’s reviews.
Custodial History
The origin of the collection is unclear. Based on notes on card headers, the collection appears to have been organized into its current structure by a Linda M. B. in about 1980; it is speculated that the project may have been arranged by Leila Luedeking, a Woolf bibliographer and MASC staff member. At some point prior to 1998 the clippings went into storage in card catalog boxes in the MASC book stacks.
Acquisition Information
In 2023 May, the collection was transfered from the MASC book stacks, where they had been stored since at least 1998, and formally converted into a manuscripts collection.
Processing Note
This collection was processed by University Archivist Mark O’English in 2023 May.
