Leroy Freeman Jackson was one of the first history professors at the State College of Washington (later Washington State Univeristy).

This collection consists of correspondence, notes and other papers related to research projects of the State College of Washington history professor Leroy F. Jackson and his students from 1914 to 1917. Research topics in the papers include liquor legislation, ethnic groups, women's clubs, rural life and Jews in the Northwest.
