Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Clarence F. Massart was the owner of a Seattle heating and plumbing business. He served on the Seattle City Council from 1950 to 1967 and as its president from 1964-1967. Among various Council committees on which Massart served was the Seattle Center Advisory Commission, which planned the Seattle World's Fair (Century 21) and the restoration of the site for the Seattle Center. Massart was defeated for re-election in the primary election of 1967.
