1,300 card-mounted stereo transparencies, 2.5 x 2.0 mm, probably photographed by A.L. McArthur of 5529 South Morgan Street, Seattle. The 1948-1949 Polk Seattle directory lists McArthur and his wife Leona at that address. McArthur's occupation was maintenance chief for the Civil Aeronautics Administration. The collection covers the following topics: McArthur and Roubinet families; scenic views of Washington state, especially Mount Rainier and vicinity; Century 21 Exposition in Seattle, 1962; trips to Eastern Canada, 1952; trips to California, 1953-1954; trips to Mexico, 1953; trips to Utah and Yellowstone, 1956-1958; trips to South America, circa 1960; and Ross Dam in the North Cascades. All dated 1951-1969.
