Lee E. Wells (1907-1982) was a pulp western, mystery, and detective fiction writer. He also wrote under the pseudonyms of Richard Poole and Lee Richards.

Collection contains correspondence, approximately 20 manuscripts of western novels in various stages of completion; about 50 manuscripts of television and motion picture scripts dealing with a variety of subjects; and more than 70 publications of detective, mystery, and western stories.
