Peter G. Bohmer began teaching at The Evergreen State College in 1987, teaching political economy. Bohmer received his BS in Economics and Mathematics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1965. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Massachusetts in 1985. In 2004 Bohmer took Evergreen students to Cuba, and in 2009 and 2012 he took Evergreen students to Venezuela with fellow Evergreen faculty member Anne Fischel.
