Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Martin Baker grew up and worked in Seattle until his retirement in 2015. He studied history at University of Washington and went on to serve as the Executive Director of the Washington Environmental Council, Legislative Coordinator for the Coalition Against Oil Pollution, the Deputy Director for Corporate Strategy and Communications for Seattle Public Utilities, the Long Range Planning Manager at Metro Transit, and Assistant Director of Habitat at the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife over the course of his career.

Scope and Content: Tape recorded interviews made by Mr. Baker in preparation for a seminar paper on the Episcopal Church, Olympia Diocese, Wash.; 1970-1971.
