- Summary
- This collection features photographs and papers from Mike Mansfield, Montana politician and statesman, his wife Maureen and their daughter Anne. The collection highlights the Mansfields' private life and is more personal in nature than Mike Mansfield's political papers, although much of the contents do reflect on his career. Photographs of the Mansfields' childhoods and extended family, as well as some limited correspondence related to Marueen's early career in social work are noteworthy, as is Mike Mansfield's hand-written diary from a study trip to Latin America in 1948 (photocopied).
