Thor Holger Harald Schack was born 1880 in Praesto, Denmark and died 1961 in Seattle. His name was originally spelled "Schock." He immigrated to the U.S. in 1905. He published the above collection of poetry, as well as two separate poems (or songs) set to music. Contributed to Dansk Tidende (Chicago). Source: Dansk skonlitteraert forfatterleksikon, 1900-1950 . . . 1964.
