- First National Theaters, Inc. leased and owned motion picture theaters in the Pacific Northwest, and in 1958, Yakima Amusement company bought out First National Theatres. The collection (1921-1959) contains financial records and correspondence of First National Theaters, Inc., of Yakima Amusement Co., and also includes financial information regarding Pioneer Securities Co., New Enterprises Inc., and C. S. Jensen.

First National Theaters, Inc. leased and owned motion picture theaters in the Pacific Northwest. Pioneer Securities company owned 90% of First National's stock. In 1958, Yakima Amusement company bought out all of the stock of First National Theatres, although the name of the company may have stayed First National Theaters.

Financial records of First National Theater, Inc. include cash journals, and ledgers from 1921 and on, profit and loss statements from 1948-1957, daily reports from 1952-1953, and other reports of 1956.
Financial records of Yakima Amusement Company include annual reports, weekly analysis, and correspondence relating to the buy-out of First National Theater in 1958.
The collection also includes a financial journal and ledger of C. S. Jensen, and accounting reports from 1948-1950 of New Enterprises Inc, a company that Jensen was president of.
There are also folders filed by name of theatre, including Tower Drive-in, Capitol Theater, Yakima Theater, and Liberty Theater.
