Permanent University Archive public records are available for research, and are subject to state, and in some cases federal freedom of information laws. In compliance with applicable state and federal laws, including, but not limited to, FERPA and HIPAA, specific records that are legally protected, sensitive, private, or confidential are exempt (not subject to disclosure) and closed to protect individual privacy.
Access to paper records will be granted after a professional review of the records occurs based on regulations in state and federal laws. Contact Special Collections & University Archives well in advance in order to access these records.
Campus Operations is a diverse organization that serves and supports the needs of the University of Oregon by providing professional services across a broad range of areas. These areas include design and construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, cleaning of campus buildings & building systems, generation and distribution of utilities, and the stewardship of university grounds.
The Facilities Services department is responsible for the maintenance and continued safe operation of campus facilities, and for prolonging the useful life of facilities.

Accession 1996.20.A: environmental issues, committee files, and minutes, 1990-1994.
Property rights reside with Special Collections & University Archives, University of Oregon Libraries. Copyright resides with the creators of the documents or their heirs. All requests for permission to publish collection materials must be submitted to Special Collections & University Archives. The reader must also obtain permission of the copyright holder. Archival records many contain materials with sensitive or confidential information that is protected under federal and/or state right to privacy laws and other regulations.
