- Wheeler McMillen (b. 1893) was a newspaper reporter, became editor of the Covington, Ind. Republican, editor of Country Home, and editor-in-chief of Farm Journal. He was founder and president of the Farm Chemurgic Council. In the 1940s he was active politically, ran for the governorship of New Jersey, and was a presidential candidate. Collection includes book manuscripts with related material, most notably Bugs or People--Which? (Appleton, 1965); correspondence; speeches, articles, editorial columns, and broadcast interview transcripts; and scrapbooks, sound recordings, photographs, and books.
