Dr. Torbjorn T. Moll was a professor in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology at Washington State University. Dr. Moll was born in Mandal, Norway in 1919. He received his D.V.M. at the Royal Veterinary College in Oslo, Norway in 1945. After immigrating to the United States, Dr. Torbjorn received his Masters of Science in 1950 and his Ph.D. in 1952 from the School of Medicine and Veterinary Science at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Torbjorn also began working at Washington State College in 1952.

This collection consists of research material from Dr. Torbjorn T. Moll, a professor in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology at Washington State University. The collection contains research photographs and notes, copies of professional articles, incoming and outgoing correspondence, as well as photographs of WSU events and lecture slides from 1952 to 1980. The research material in this collection pertains to virus immunology and the preparation of [monospecific fluorescein labeled?] immunoglobulins, and includes the topics of: pneumonia-enteritis of the newborn calf, pancreatic lesions in canine distemper, isolation of cytopathogenic viral agent from feces of cattle, pyknosis of langerhans cells in septicemic animals, diabetes in animals and in humans, and Marek's Disease (MD).
